Plein Air

I helped to found the Sylvania, Ohio Plein Air Festival in 2023 Plein Air has become an integral part of my creative practice, and an essential step towards creating my over-sized paintings of gardens. I must paint a scene from life before re-creating en grande scale.

I enjoy painting out-doors, and educating kids through adults on how to get outside and paint.
